The Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL), 45-34 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Railsplitters now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mattoon for a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. Lincoln will play a Greenwave team coming off a 53-38 non-league win over Pana (Pana, IL). The Greenwave record now stands at 6-16.

With the loss, Jacksonville falls to 8-14 on the campaign. The Crimsons host MacArthur (Decatur, IL) to play the Generals in a Central State Eight bout on Friday, January 31. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 16-6. MacArthur won 67-48 in their recent non-league bout against Urbana (Urbana, IL)
