In Tuesday's league test, the J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC) basketball squad got by the host Louisburg Warriors (Louisburg, NC), by a final score of 61-54.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) in a 2A/3A Northern Lakes test, on Thursday, January 30. J.F. Webb will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Vipers come into the test with a 5-13 record after their 88-44 league loss to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC).

The Warriors (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Granville Central (Stem, NC). The Panthers come into the 2A/3A Northern Lakes test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Granville Central was nipped by Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC), 71-65, in a league test.
