January 28, 2025: Mitchell, SD 57301 The Roosevelt Rough Riders basketball squad (Sioux Falls, SD), was nudged 42-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD)
With the victory, Mitchell advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Kernels travel to Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD) to meet the Patriots in a AA battle on Friday, January 31. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 10-0. Lincoln won 80-35 in their recent league battle against Washington (Sioux Falls, SD)
The Rough Riders now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a AA battle on Saturday, February 1. Roosevelt will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 71-61 league loss to Huron (Huron, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-9.
