South Dakota High School Basketball - Mitchell victorious over Pierre T.F. Riggs
February 21, 2025: Mitchell, SD 57301 In Friday's league contest, the host Mitchell Kernels basketball team scored a good 53-44 triumph over the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors.
The Kernels (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD). The Rough Riders go into the AA contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt was topped by Washington (Sioux Falls, SD), 55-42, in a league battle.
The Governors now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a AA battle on Tuesday, February 25. Pierre T.F. Riggs will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 57-43 league win over Brookings (Brookings, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-11.
