January 28, 2025: Platte, SD 57369 The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers basketball squad (Platte, SD), was outscored 62-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD)
With the victory, Parkston advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Trojans host McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD) to meet the Fighting Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Fighting Cougars enter the battle with a record of 6-7.
The Black Panthers now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colome for a non-league battle on Friday, January 31. Platte/Geddes will meet a Cowboys squad coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to Takini (Howes, SD). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-11.
