South Dakota High School Basketball - Platte/Geddes sneaks past Wagner
February 21, 2025: Platte, SD 57369 The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Wagner Red Raiders to 57 in the Black Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Black Panthers now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Todd County for a non-league game on Monday, February 24. Platte/Geddes will play a Falcons team coming off a 84-68 league loss to Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Falcons record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Wagner falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Beresford (Beresford, SD) to face the Watchdogs in a non-league match on Monday, February 24. The Watchdogs enter the match with a record of 10-7. Beresford lost 56-46 in their recent league match against Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD)
