January 28, 2025: Wagner, SD 57380 Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Wagner Red Raiders (Wagner, SD), 43-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Corsica/Stickney upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 1-13. Bon Homme lost 63-34 in their recent non-league match against Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD)
The Red Raiders now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotland/Menno for a A Region 5 match on Thursday, January 30. Wagner will face a Trappers squad coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD). The Trappers record now stands at 2-9.
