South Dakota High School Basketball - Sanborn Central/Woonsocket holds off Wagner
February 11, 2025: Wagner, SD 57380 The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Wagner Red Raiders to 42 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now have a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Highmore/Harrold for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will confront a Pirates team coming off a 55-53 non-league loss to Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Wagner falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD) to confront the Cubs in a non-league game on Friday, February 14. The Cubs go into the game with a record of 5-11. Chamberlain lost 55-49 in their recent league game against Crow Creek (Stephan, SD)
