The Washington County Panthers defeated the host Perquimans Pirates basketball squad by a final score of 70-50 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) in a 1A/2A Four Rivers outing, on Thursday, January 30. Washington County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Vikings come into the outing with a 9-2 record after their 69-54 league win over Gates County (Gatesville, NC).
