New York High School Basketball - Ballston Spa holds off Guilderland

January 28, 2025: Ballston Spa, NY 12020

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Ballston Spa Scotties basketball team scored a close 50-46 triumph over the Guilderland Flying Dutchmen.

The Scotties (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Colonie Central (Albany, NY). The Wolfpack go into the Section 2 Suburban contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Colonie Central nipped Schenectady (Schenectady, NY), 71-19, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Flying Dutchmen confront the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban contest, on Friday, January 31. Guilderland will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the contest with a 1-14 record after their 56-28 non-league loss to Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY).
