New York High School Basketball - Guilderland triumphant over Ballston Spa

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Guilderland Flying Dutchmen (Guilderland Center, NY) and the visiting Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY), observed Guilderland's basketball team overwhelm Ballston Spa by a score of 61-37.

The Flying Dutchmen (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Eagles come into the Section 2 Suburban challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Bethlehem Central trounced Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY), 54-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Scotties encounter the Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban challenge, on Friday, February 14. Ballston Spa will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 63-55 league loss to Shaker (Latham, NY).
