Wisconsin High School Basketball - Darlington holds off New Glarus
January 28, 2025: Darlington, WI 53530 The Darlington Redbirds basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting New Glarus Glarner Knights to 39 in the Redbirds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Redbirds now have a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Iowa-Grant for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities game on Thursday, January 30. Darlington will confront a Panthers team coming off a 61-36 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 4-14.
With the loss, New Glarus falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Glarner knights host Cambridge (Cambridge, WI) to confront the Bluejays in a Capitol - South game on Friday, January 31. The Bluejays go into the game with a record of 15-4. Cambridge won 56-42 in their recent non-league game against Brodhead (Brodhead, WI)
