The Dime Box Longhorns basketball squad (Dime Box, TX), was crushed 67-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Round Top-Carmine Cubs (Carmine, TX)

With the victory, Round Top-Carmine advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Cubs host North Zulch (North Zulch, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a 1A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, January 31. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 5-13. North Zulch won 43-13 in their recent league battle against Calvert (Calvert, TX)

The Longhorns now own a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Zulch for a 1A Region IV District 29 battle on Tuesday, February 4.
