Michigan High School Basketball - Niles nudges St. Joseph
January 28, 2025: Niles, MI 49120 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Niles Vikings (Niles, MI) and the visiting St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI), observed Niles's basketball team edge St. Joseph by a score of 54-51.
The Vikings (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Otsego (Otsego, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Wolverine B challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Otsego edged Gull Lake (Richland, MI), 43-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears encounter the Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan - West challenge, on Thursday, January 30. St. Joseph will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 51-36 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, MI).
