The Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ) basketball edged the visiting Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ), 46-43 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Rangers now possess a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Marana for a 6A South bout on Friday, January 31. Rincon/University will play a Tigers team coming off a 54-42 league loss to Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, Sunnyside falls to 20-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ) to play the Badgers in a 6A South bout on Friday, January 31.
