Virginia High School Basketball - Altavista victorious over William Campbell
January 28, 2025: Altavista, VA 24517 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Altavista Colonels basketball team scored a good 44-34 triumph over the William Campbell Generals.
The Colonels (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Appomattox County topped Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 49-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Generals confront the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. William Campbell will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Governors go into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 58-52 non-league loss to Chatham (Chatham, VA).
