The Windber Ramblers topped the host North Star Cougars basketball team by a final score of 62-52 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Ramblers face the Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern game, on Monday, January 31. Windber will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 11-5 record after their 65-53 non-league win over Purchase Line (Commodore, PA).

With the defeat, North Star moves to 7-10 on the year. The Cougars host Ferndale (Johnstown, PA) to face the Yellow Jackets in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern game on Wednesday, February 2. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a record of 6-7.
