Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Windber crushes North Star

February 8, 2022: Windber, PA 15963

Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA), 73-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Windber upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Ramblers host Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 10. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Turkeyfoot Valley Area won 86-60 in their recent non-league bout against Hancock (Hancock, MD)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern bout, on Thursday, February 10. North Star will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 19-1 record after their 64-60 league loss to Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA).
