The Seward Bluejays basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Aurora Huskies to 48 in the Bluejays non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bluejays now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeview for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1. Seward will battle a Vikings team coming off a 32-26 non-league loss to Holdrege (Holdrege, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 11-7.

The Huskies (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Grand Island Central Catholic edged Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE), 48-39, in a non-league contest.
