Maryland High School Basketball - St. Mary's nips Indian Creek
January 29, 2024: Crownsville, MD 21032 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD) and the host Indian Creek Eagles (Crownsville, MD), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad hold off Indian Creek by a tally of 57-53.
With the victory, St. Mary's improves its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Concordia Prep (Towson, MD) to play the Saints in a MIAA B - Red challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Concordia Prep lost 60-59 in their recent league challenge against Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD)
Next up, the Eagles play the Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Indian Creek will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 16-10 record after their 69-66 league loss to Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD).
