Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ) and the host Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ), saw Sahuarita's basketball squad overcome Amphitheater by a tally of 45-28.

With the victory, Sahuarita improves its record to 15-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ) to play the Hawks in a 4A Gila challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 19-4. Rio Rico lost 52-50 in their recent league challenge against Douglas (Douglas, AZ)
