The Plum Mustangs edged the visiting Freeport Yellowjackets ice hockey squad by a tally of 4-3 in Monday's league bout.

With the victory, Plum betters its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Beaver (Beaver, PA) to confront the Bobcats in a PIHL Class A Blue bout on Monday, February 12. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-9.

The Yellowjackets now have a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeling Central Catholic for a bout on Thursday, February 8.
