Virginia High School Basketball - Manchester nudges Huguenot
January 29, 2025: Richmond, VA 23225 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) and the host Huguenot Falcons (Richmond, VA), observed Manchester's basketball team edge Huguenot by a score of 58-57.
The Lancers (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Skyhawks come into the Dominion challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, L.C. Bird edged Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA), 76-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Friday, January 31. Huguenot will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Rapids come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 75-63 league win over Monacan (Richmond, VA).
