Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM), 33-19 in a league match.

With the victory, Dexter advances its record to 13-7 on the year. The Demons host Tularosa (Tularosa, NM) to face the Wildcats in a 3A District 4 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-13. Tularosa won 56-42 in their recent non-league match against Socorro (Socorro, NM)

The Colts now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hagerman for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. New Mexico Military Institute will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 69-10 league loss to Texico (Texico, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-8.
