Mississippi High School Basketball - Leake County overwhelms Mississippi School for the Deaf

The Leake County Gators basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs to 22 in the Gators league triumph on Wednesday.

The Gators now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Taylorsville for a 1A Region 7 game on Friday, January 31.

With the loss, Mississippi School for the Deaf falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL) to confront the Silent Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Silent Warriors go into the game with a record of 7-14. Alabama School for the Deaf lost 29-25 in their recent non-league game against Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL)
