The Leake County Gators were victorious over the host Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 48-31 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Gators clash with the Mount Olive Pirates (Mount Olive, MS) in a 1A Region 7 outing, on Friday, January 10. Leake County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Pirates enter the outing with a 0-9 record after their 55-29 league loss to Stringer (Stringer, MS).
