Washington High School Basketball - Overlake thwarts South Whidbey
January 29, 2025: Redmond, WA 98053 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA) and the visiting South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA), observed Overlake's basketball team knock off South Whidbey by a score of 49-35.
The Owls (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Bush (Seattle, WA). The Blazers come into the 1A Emerald Sound challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Bush prevailed over Northwest (Seattle, WA), 57-20, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound challenge, on Friday, January 31. South Whidbey will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record.
