January 29, 2025: Elk Grove, CA 95624 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) and the visiting Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack (Elk Grove, CA), saw Monterey Trail's soccer squad knock off Cosumnes Oaks by a count of 3-1.
The Mustangs (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Eagles enter the battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Pleasant Grove tipped Sheldon (Sacramento, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Wolfpack battle the Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) in a battle, on Wednesday, February 5. Cosumnes Oaks will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA).
