California High School Soccer - Franklin knocks off Monterey Trail
January 8, 2025: Elk Grove, CA 95757 The Franklin Wildcats soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Grove for a bout on Monday, January 13. Franklin will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Valley (Sacramento, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Monterey Trail moves to 6-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Wolfpack in a bout on Friday, January 10. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Cosumnes Oaks won 1-0 in their recent league bout against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA)
