Delaware High School Basketball - Brandywine can't hold off Archmere Academy
January 3, 2023: Wilmington, DE 19803 The Brandywine Bulldogs basketball team (Wilmington, DE), was nudged 42-40 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Archmere Academy Auks (Claymont, DE)
The Auks now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caravel for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 5. Archmere Academy will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 64-56 non-league loss to Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-2.
The Bulldogs (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Concord (Wilmington, DE). The Raiders come into the Blue Hen Flight - B battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Concord was nudged by Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE), 62-21, in a non-league battle.
