New Jersey High School Basketball - Clayton routs LEAP Academy
January 3, 2023: Camden, NJ 08102 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Clayton Clippers (Clayton, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host LEAP Academy Lancers (Camden, NJ), by a margin of 98-72.
The Clippers (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ). The Rams go into the Tri-County - Classic outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Gloucester Catholic overwhelmed Florence Township Memorial (Florence, NJ), 52-42, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Lancers play the Salem Rams (Salem, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. LEAP Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 50-41 non-league loss to Collingswood (Collingswood, NJ).
