California High School Basketball - Foothill overwhelms El Modena
January 3, 2023: Santa Ana, CA 92705 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA) and the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), saw Foothill's basketball squad wallop El Modena by a tally of 71-43.
With the victory, Foothill improves its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Canyon (Anaheim, CA) to play the Comanches in a Crestview challenge on Friday, January 6. The Comanches come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Canyon won 56-45 in their recent non-league challenge against El Dorado (Placentia, CA)
Next up, the Vanguards play the El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA) in a North Hills challenge, on Friday, January 6. El Modena will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Canyon (Anaheim, CA).
