California High School Basketball - Tustin holds off El Modena
November 19, 2022: Orange, CA 92869 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA) and the host El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), saw Tustin's basketball squad hold off El Modena by a tally of 44-41.
With the victory, Tustin improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Tillers travel to Bassett (La Puente, CA) to confront the Olympians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 22. The Olympians come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Bassett lost 52-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Polytechnic (Pasadena, CA)
Next up, the Vanguards confront the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 22. El Modena will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 50-48 non-league loss to Cerritos (Cerritos, CA).
