The Gruver Greyhounds basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Vega Longhorns to 42 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canadian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6.

The Longhorns (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Memphis (Memphis, TX). The Cyclones come into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Memphis was nudged by Paducah (Paducah, TX), 55-47, in a non-league contest.
