The Tigers now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roane County for a 2A District 3 battle on Friday, January 6. Meigs County will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 75-42 non-league win over Coalfield (Coalfield, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-2.
The Cherokees (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rhea County (Evensville, TN). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 14-8 record. In their last battle, Rhea County dropped by Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN), 54-42, in a non-league battle.
