Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Loudon Redskins (Loudon, TN), 71-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Meigs County upgrades its record to 13-15 on the season. The Tigers travel to Tyner Academy (Chattanooga, TN) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Tyner Academy won 51-44 in their recent league bout against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN)

Next up, the Redskins play the Brainerd Panthers (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 25. Loudon will attempt to upgrade on its 11-19 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 20-7 record after their 77-43 non-league win over Hixson (Hixson, TN).
