January 24, 2023: Sweetwater, TN 37874 The Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN) basketball nipped the host Sweetwater Wildcats (Sweetwater, TN), 48-41 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Roane County (Kingston, TN). The Yellowjackets go into the 2A District 3 test with a 15-3 record.
The Wildcats now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they host McMinn Central for a 2A District 3 test on Friday, January 27. Sweetwater will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 77-66 league loss to Loudon (Loudon, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 5-14.
