Illinois High School Basketball - Routt Catholic overwhelms Tri-City
January 3, 2023: Jacksonville, IL 62650 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Routt Catholic Rockets (Jacksonville, IL) and the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), saw Routt Catholic's basketball squad wallop Tri-City by a tally of 66-43.
With the victory, Routt Catholic improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Carrollton (Carrollton, IL) to confront the Hawks in a Western Illinois Valley challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Carrollton lost 48-38 in their recent non-league challenge against South County (Franklin, IL)
Next up, the Tornadoes confront the Flanagan-Cornell Falcons (Flanagan, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Tri-City will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 71-34 league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL).
