Illinois High School Basketball - Routt Catholic holds off New Berlin
December 29, 2022: New Berlin, IL 62670 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Routt Catholic Rockets (Jacksonville, IL) and the host New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL), saw Routt Catholic's basketball squad hold off New Berlin by a tally of 30-26.
With the victory, Routt Catholic improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host Tri-City (Buffalo, IL) to confront the Tornadoes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Tri-City lost 72-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Auburn (Auburn, IL)
Next up, the Pretzels confront the Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. New Berlin will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record.
