Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hollidaysburg overwhelms Bellefonte
January 3, 2023: Bellefonte, PA 16823 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) and the host Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA), saw Hollidaysburg's basketball squad wallop Bellefonte by a tally of 65-20.
With the victory, Hollidaysburg improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Golden Tigers travel to Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA) to confront the Bald Eagles in a Mountain challenge on Friday, January 6. The Bald Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Bald Eagle Area lost 50-37 in their recent league challenge against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) in a Mountain challenge, on Friday, January 6. Bellefonte will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 62-41 league loss to Tyrone (Tyrone, PA).
