Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hollidaysburg overwhelms Bald Eagle Area
January 6, 2023: Wingate, PA 16823 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) and the host Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA), saw Hollidaysburg's basketball squad wallop Bald Eagle Area by a count of 55-20.
With the victory, Hollidaysburg upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Golden Tigers host Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA) to play the Rams in a Mountain challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Penns Valley Area won 49-22 in their recent league challenge against Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA)
Next up, the Bald Eagles play the Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Seals come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 41-22 league loss to Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA).
