North Carolina High School Basketball - Olympic can't hold off Berry

January 3, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28208

The Berry Cardinal basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Olympic Trojans to 50 in the Cardinal league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinal now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palisades for a 4A Conference 49 contest on Friday, January 6. Berry will battle a Pumas team coming off a 64-12 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas record now stands at 4-8.

The Trojans (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres enter the 4A Conference 49 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, South Mecklenburg nudged Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC), 64-52, in a league contest.
