Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 41-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Palisades upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Pumas host West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-5. West Mecklenburg lost 59-17 in their recent league bout against Hough (Cornelius, NC)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Olympic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 31-18 non-league win over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC).
