The Palisades Pumas basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 68-22 in Friday's league battle with the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC)

The Sabres now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berry for a 4A Conference 49 battle on Tuesday, December 13. South Mecklenburg will confront a Cardinal team coming off a 64-16 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinal record now stands at 2-6.

The Pumas (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights come into the 4A Conference 49 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Ardrey Kell trounced Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 47-37, in a non-league battle.
