The Palisades Pumas basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 75-17 in Friday's league battle with the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC)

The Sabres now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berry for a 4A Conference 49 battle on Tuesday, January 24. South Mecklenburg will confront a Cardinal team coming off a 73-20 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinal record now stands at 4-11.

The Pumas (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights come into the 4A Conference 49 battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Ardrey Kell trounced Berry (Charlotte, NC), 72-31, in a league battle.
