The Palisades Pumas basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 78-44 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC)

The Sabres now possess a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Myers Park for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. South Mecklenburg will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 44-24 non-league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 20-5.
