The West Point Pointers ran past the host Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 42-25 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Pointers face the Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 5. West Point will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-6 record after their 56-25 non-league win over Sussex Central (Sussex, VA).
