Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 42-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Robinson upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to play the Knights in a 1A/2A Conference 35 bout on Friday, January 6. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Gray Stone Day won 39-30 in their recent non-league bout against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Tigers play the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Mount Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 49-48 non-league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
