The North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC), 58-34 in Friday's league test.

The Comets (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights go into the 1A/2A Conference 35 test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Gray Stone Day was trounced by Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 47-30, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Rowan for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17.
