New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia overwhelms Valley

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), saw Sandia's basketball squad wallop Valley by a tally of 76-38.

With the victory, Sandia improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Volcano Vista won 49-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 45-31 non-league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM).
